what to do with front and rear anti sway bars when lifting truck???
after getting all the parts for the 4" skyjacker lift together i realized that the truck we pulled it off of had no anti sway bars and mine does. what can be done to drop these down so the truck still rides nice? thanks. and will 35's clear a 4" lift? i've heard conflicting information
Drop brackets or keep them off. If you're gonna be offroading you'll probably want to leave them off anyways.
I removed them once on my street driven truck to see if i noticed any differences. It wasn't anything considerable. Just a slightly more positive feeling in cornering. I put them back on.
EDIT: (slapping my forehead) I totally worded that wrong. I get the more positive feeling WITH them on.

I wheel with both sway bars, and have little trouble keeping up with lifted/locked trucks with much larger tires. Since I drive my truck cross-country to get to off-roading sites, and occasionally tow/haul heavy loads, I won't give up my sway bars. I'd put frame blocks on the front bar to lower it, and put extended end-links on the back.
