I'd replace it. A new Motorcraft is $52.79 at Rockauto.com.

code 87 isnt a tps code
87- Fuel pump primary circuit fault

will the truck stay running if you hold the throttle open a little bit? have you checked the fuel pressure at start up? check the connections to the pump and relay, make sure there arent any loose wires too.

If it's a fuel pressure problem, I'd probably change the fuel filter on general principle.

still not a tps code
33- egr valve opening not detected.
do a suck test/ or hook a little vacuum pump to make sure the egr is opening, if it doesnt open then replace the egr, if it does open then make sure the sensor changes resistance as the egr opens and closes.
