Hey all was wondering if anyone ever hooked up a coolant temp guage and tranny temp gauge on a stock f150 with the 300 i6 engine, and if so what were the normal temps?
I just replaced the rad and rebuilt the tranny with a tranny cooler (the old e4od's just hooked into the radiator too and did not have a trans cooler) but the thing seems to be running hotter, at least the engine coolant anyway, which is weird cause if anything it should be cooling better without the transmission cooling off in the rad as well as the coolant.
