stearing coloum problems on 89 F-150
my truck is a 4x4 reguler cab, sudinly it wont start and wit wont go in to gear changed the key switch no change they key will also go forward and it wont set back in to the on pos. can any one help me plez oh and i can jump it on the Cylinoid but it wont start by turning the key i got that problem two

The key goes in the lock cylinder. The ignition switch is a separate part on the column inside the dash. There's a mechanism that connects them, and on tilt/cruise columns, it's known to wear out & break. Replacing it can be challenging.
