While you have it pulled, throw it away.

nah just messin, its gonna be staying in a box that i keep all the stuff that i never use for now. i might do something with it later but i aint just gonna throw away a $240 chip.-and yea i know i spent $240 too much but its too late now. if i bump my timing to 14* i can still run midgrade fuel right?

cause i noticed practically nothing with it, and when i bumped my timing up to 13* without the chip in the computer, i noticed a little more bottom end and better throttle responce. so i checked the connections and all and put it back in and still didnt notice anything to brag about. i dont know i may just advance the distributor to 12* and put the chip back. what would you guys do if you payed 240 for the thing? i mainly want to know what the switches are suppose to be for i asked hypertech but they never responded. i messed with the #1 switch and noticed a big difference, but i dont know what it had affected like that, so i really want to know.

Find a sucker who will buy it from you and do the timing bump/ignition upgrade.

Those chips are pretty much useless in your truck.
