well im sad to say that i personally don't think the truck will be done by tomorrow. but on a positive note we can correct the imperfections and do final adjustments so it will be ready for next year.

Great looking truck! Heck, it looked great before you tore it apart; I'da had to have left it alone and drove the heck out of it.
My dad and I spent 3 years restoring a '53 3100 Chevy (half ton). Most fun vehicle in the world to cruise in.

I'd like to find an old Ford, 48-53, with the flathead V8/4speed combo one day.

thanks man! i drove her around for about a year with the straight axle on the front but it was like trying to wrestle a grizzly bear to keep it on the road lol so then i got a mustang II front end put under it and it drove like a dream i kept in like that for about two years. as you can see in the pic its home was at my family's landscape supply business it was there for one out of those two years we would put our business logos on it and drive it around tow. so after those 3 years i decided i might as well go all out and make her pretty on the inside and out. i would love to have this truck but all stock with a flathead in it!

I'm living vicariously through you -- and the best part about it is that I haven't scraped my knuckles once through the entire build......

im glad you haven't scraped your knuckles yet in this build because I know I have. blood, sweat, and well I don't think any tears have gone in it. well scratch that I might have cried a few times when the bills came in.
