Im looking for a HID kit for my truck. Has anyone converted their headlights to HID and which kit did you go with?

Not AFAIK. There are kits to put HID bulbs in the original housings, but that doesn't work right because the reflector isn't designed for it, and there's no real hi-beam.

The only good way I know of is HID driving lights mounted to the bumper or grille guard for ~$100ea.

I have thought about buying projector housings and an HID kit, but I don't need any more lighting on my truck. It's like daylight at night as it is for about a mile in front of me. Would be pretty neat though.

I've never seen HID driving lights for $100 each (but i've never really looked either). I have 2 KC daylighters on my bumper (130 watts) and they work awesome. payed around $140 for em.

I'm not saying it's great... Just that it exists. I've never bought one, or even seen one turned on.
