all the engine options for that truck were awesome. what you need to worry about is which tranny it has. if its an e40d then if its never been rebuilt/updated then you may have some issues with that. other than that maybe just a few sensors here and there. but we also dont know how hard the trucks been driven during its whole life. the truck does look good though. it looks like it'll be a good truck, it'll be a great truck for a modded engine
it just aint worth it to me but thats only because its 2wd and i need 4wd unless i want to call someone to get me unstuck. but thats just me. 3000 just seems a little high to me though. see what its worth on kbb

3k seems a little steep. I would think it's worth 2k private party value. I would check KBB. I just don't see how it could be worth much more than 2k.

It's a 95. If it's an E4OD (Trans code "E") it already has all the tranny upgrades. If it's the 4R70W (Trans code "U") it doesn't have quite the torque rating. That may be an issue if you tow. Either way, the condition of the tranny is important. As long as the fluid is red and doesn't smell burned there's probably not much to worry about.

cause of the high mileage you might be able to knock a few hundred off, but that seems like a really nice truck.

the tranny dipstick should be to the left of the engine

If it has been reasonably maintained, that's nothing. Mine has been severely abused, has over 400Kmi, and still runs strong at 90mph.

I'd replace the air dam under the front bumper (#8), straighten both bumpers on the passenger side, & drive the hell out of it!

No such thing in these trucks ('87-96).

I'm sure there's some haggle room in that price, but 2K seems FAR too low for a truck in that condition.

On a vehicle, "left & right" are always from the operator's point of view. It's on the R.

just depends if kept well. if the oil doesnt look milky and the tranny fluid is red tinted and there are no major oil leaks it'll be alright. a drop or 2 of oil is alright. its a ford we like to make sure everyone know its been there. lol.

A paintless dent guy could get that dent out of the door.
