quick question

ok, i dont know if this is in the right fourm, but here it is. this is for you mechanics out there. i have to change a U-joint on a 91 f150, and the 4 bolts that hold the driveshaft to the rear yoke, mine are very tight, and a 13mm fits perfectly, but when i try to break them loose the wrench skips. the bolt head looks like a torx , so my question is, is there a special socket, or wrench i need to use on this? thanks for any help, jim

If it's like my '97, it's a 12mm 12 point socket... I picked up both a 3/8 and 1/2 drive version, because I needed to use my breaker bar the first time I cracked them loose..

Good luck!

Mitch

agreed, you need a 12mm 12 point wrench or socket.
