Gas Tank Swap???

Hey guys i have a 1992 150, 5.8.

it only has the single rear 18 or 19 gallon tank in the back

kinda annoying to fill up so often...

just curious i think the same year/body style broncos have like a 33 gallon tank and was wondering(Sense my truck is on 35's... i dont have a spare anymore) if that tank could just swap right in... and replace the spare tire all together..

i have found a 45 gallon replacement on this webiste but its like 550 bucks for it and a used old bronco one would be way cheap...

your thoughts?

Depends on your wheelbase; or more specifically, the distance between the back 2 frame crossmembers. If it's the same as a Bronco, you're golden.

No, I've never had to measure it, so IDK what the magic number is.
