Hello all,

I have a 1995 F250 7.3PSD, E4OD

Concerns will be listed as 1. No 1st Gear and 2. Odd Locking on Doors.

1. No First Gear
There is no first Gear when in Drive, but if I place it manually in 1 it goes there.

Looked at Service manual and it says Shift Solenoid 2 always on. (SS2 Always on)

Anyone know what is usually cause of this?

2. Odd Locking on Doors
Whenever I move the key from the Off to the On position the doors lock and unlock. Like you are tripping the jumper for the security module to program a FOB.

Anyone ever heard of this, and the resulting solution?

1. How many miles on the trans? Has it ever been rebuilt? Has it ever been serviced at a dealership? There are MANY revisions to the E4OD, and your truck may not have all of them.

2. Does the truck have RKE? Does the remote work?
