So, the truck I am buying has 195,000 miles. The truck has always been well loved and cared for like it should, with regular maintenance.

Now, on a well-cared-for 302, nearly 200,000 miles is still a LOT no matter how you slice it. What should I look out for on the engine? The transmission only has 40K or so on it...

Timing chain? Head Gaskets?

I do plan on a nice true dual exhaust for the truck, but what can be done on this truck to give the engine some more punch? will the typical mustang 5.0 bolt-ons work with the truck engine?

I learned to drive on this truck...and it was a bit of a gutless wonder even before it has 100K on it...so what can be done to wake it up?
