Hey guys i looked at this f350 tonite and it is somewhere between a 80-86 model single cab dually gas motor and a standard. Its pretty beat to hell but was wondering what motor options came in these f350's and if the transmissions were strong? I was looking on the internet and one truck had a inline 6 in it, that dont sound right to me for being a 350. Arent these models pretty rare being a single cab dually? The guy wants 850 obo for it

 

the 300 inline the 351 and the 460 and the 6.9 diesel were put into those f350's. i dont think the 302 was. i know the 300 was in the swb f350, never saw it in a dually but i dont see why not. the trannies were good. i've only seen a few standard trannies ever go up. and that was going from 5 gear to reverse(accidently) at 60mph or so. my friends 85 f350 had a 300 in it from factory but he swapped a 7.3 in it.
