1986 ford f150 heater ?'s

I got a 1986 just my old around town beater but got new motor now tranny!! It was fuel injected but had to many problem with it so ditched for carb setup... ok how can i hookup the heater hoses old setup had the hookup on the intake and water pump. I still got the water pump hookup but can i just tee if off and run both lines off a tee or do have to run one from water pump and other the intake to get the heater to work ??

You have to run one from the water pump and the other to the intake manifold. Teeing off from the water pump wouldn't give you proper coolant circulation. Why can't you hook a hose to the intake manifold?

I think i can had the temp gauage sensor on the intake ...ill have to find a fitting and redo it !! kinda figured thats what id have to do

If you put a carb on it there should not be any hoses going to the intake.
Just run two hoses from the water pump to the heater.

The "T" for the old intake was to heat the throttle body that you no longer have.

The temp gauge sender screws into the intake over behind the distributor.
The item that was on the water pipe "T" is or was fro the computer only.
I take it you have no computer now.

Yes no computer switch everything over distributor, and intake to carb

And yes kinda what i thought was to te it off from the pump

just went to autozone bought a fiting to screw in the intake..... ran the hose from the heartercore BAMMMMMM got heat again !!
