Fuel pump problem (confirm for me)

Recently bought a '93 SC 5.0 auto, 144k
Nice truck in surprisingly good condition, considering.

1) Running the back tank results in the front tank filling: Rear pump needs to be replaced, right?
2) Running the front tank: Gauge doesn't work, and the pump is noticeably louder than the rear, is the sending unit replaceable separately from the pump and is that worth it since the tank is coming down?
3) Best prices on pumps?

TIA,
Russ

sounds like the front pumps check valve is bad. front needs to be replaced.

the sending unit is replaceable but if the pump is noisy you might as well replace it too while your there.

Excellent. Thanks Matt. Good news that I only need to replace the one pump.
