Does anyone know what would this I6 in 93 f150 4x4, auto, be able to tow, I found it for sale (asking 2500.00) with 144,000 miles, trying to decide if its a good deal, thanks..

Actually, we need to know both the gear ratio and the tranny type.
If you don't know, can you post the codes for Trans and Axle from the Vehicle ID sticker?

 

I dunno if my truck was rated for it, but my old 300 with a manual and 3.08 gears pulled a 3000lb boat without too much trouble, not using overdrive. My "new" one with a 351, auto, and 3.55 pulls it effortlessy, like not even there.

$2500? It must be in super-nice condition for that kind of price.
