Hey.....Pastmaster
Pastmaster , I know you know a good bit about 302 v8 powered f150's , so Ive got a question , a good freind of mine just got handed down a 91 f150 extendedcab ,lariat , swb, 302 , automatic, and 3.55 rear, It has a pawpaw driven 27,000 miles on it, its twotone grey and silver , and looks great ! all options, He is wanted to do a few mods to it, but the question is , do you have any idea , what this truck would run in the quarter mile ? or 0 to 60 ? , just an estimate , and what do you think his first mod should be ? , if anyone else wants to chip in they can... of course
I haven't seen Pastmaster on this site for quite some time. He moderates the Ford forum over at pickuptruck.com so you could catch him over there if he doesn't reply.
As far as the mods, many people do the exhaust first. I did ignition (Jacobs), pulleys (Ford Racing), and intake (DIY) before I did the exhaust. The ignition seemed to make the largest difference in overall driving. The intake and exhaust probably made the largest high RPM power increases.
As for times, hard to say. I would imagine in the upper 17s bone stock. I might take mine to the rally this year and find out.
