Hey I just bought my second f-150, a 94XL swb for a grand It is a clean NV truck but need a new motor, The I-6 Is about to die at 300,000 miles. I was considering swapping in a performance EFI 351 into it. Question Will a 351 be able to pass SMOG. I have read in a mustang forum that V-6 stangs make the best canidates for V-8 conversions because V-6's have an odd firing order. I am not sure if this is true, but if it is is this also true with I-6's. Also would it be necessary to upgrade the E4OD or are the all the same.
