Removing Front Bump stops

I'm not sure if I should be posting this here or in the Suspension section but, here goes...
I'm looking to remove the front bump stops on my '96 F150 to install a set of Timbrens for Plowing. Any experience on the easiest/best way to do this?
I can't feel any nuts or anything holding them on so they must be riveted. All I can think to do is grab the sawzall with a long blade (to get past the coil springs) and cut the stud inbetween the bump stop and the frame and punch out anything that remains in the hole.
Thoughts?

Got 'em. I cut them off, it turns out they were bolted. There's a counterbore on the inside of the frame that allows the bolt head to sit flush that's why I couldn't feel them. I did remove the shocks to gain better access.
