Smog Plumbing on an 83 4.9L 6 cyl.
Guys,
I need help with an older engine that was just rebuilt. It purrs with
all smog gear disconnected and plugged. I can't make heads or tails out of
some of the smog diagram details on the sticker that's under the hood.
Specifically:
1) What's the EGR valve connected to?
2) Can someone describe where the vac lines that come off the main temp
switch on the thermostat housing? ---->4 lines with another Y connection
making a 5th run.
3) The air filter housing has a vac line connected on top. One goes from
the top to the side. Another one goes where?
4) Any diagrams ect. on the web for this older truck?
1983 F 150, 300 L6 (4.9L) Carter 1bbl; Automatic trans (C6); 2 WD
