I just had the clutch replaced in my 92 F-150 118,000 two days ago. When I picked it up it idled rough when I started it, I hopped out and asked the mech what was wrong- is the clutch out of balance or what and he said no your trucks computer need to reset and it will take several miles of driving. It seems like a vibration but I guess it could be missing a little...the steering wheel and shifter vibrate but it settles a little when it warms up. Is the mech (full of it) ? What is the process for an idle re-learn that dose not involve the dealer? thanks
