first-ever f150 supercab

my boss has a 1975 scab...he's wanting to sell it. it's in okay condition, but doesn't run and has a couple of rust spots. its 390 is locked up, but the coolest thing about it is the vin # is f15mkx00000. He's been told by our local ford dealer that he should check on that because it may mean he has the first f150 scab ever made! 1975 was the first year for the supercab. anybody know if this might be of any worth? even though it doesn't run and needs cosmetic work?

i would figure out if its the first one ever made. if it is, then buy it, restore it, sell it!

and what better place to sell it than to a dealership who will use it in their showroom. you could get a decent amount of money from them i bet!

there were a few super and crew cabs in the 50's and 60's (they were made at cusotm shops that were contracted to certain numbers)

if it is indeed the first ever ford produced supercab then he may have something but if it's all rusted out then oh well he should have cared for it better

No, '74 was the first model year of a super cab.

Still cool though.
