Sputtering
Hello,
I've got this 1993 w/302 and E4OD trans. It has been making this annoying sputtering sound at an idle and through out the rpm range in all gears. I'm thinking that it's a bad lifter/worn cam lobe or maybe a bad injector. There is a power loss but not much. I've replaced the cap, rotor, wires and plugs. So I don't think it is an ignition problem. Timing chain set was replaced also. But I really didn't need to do that. The original was still in outstanding condition. TIA. Art
