Understand completely. The goal wasn't to have you come out here to look at trucks; that would be far too impractical for anyone except those with a last name of Gates.
I just thought it would make a good foundation for comparison shopping. You'd have to be pretty convinced that a particular truck was definately the right one, although I know people in the Mustang hobby who do it all the time. They do all their homework via the computer, have photos sent, ask all the questions they can, hash out the asking price differences, and by doing this and being very descriminatory about what you see and hear you can end up with the right truck for a steal. Many sellers will take the vehicle to the buyer if they are convinced the seller is serious. Anyway, food for thought.

Thanks machboss! It really would help to have the info from those ads as a comparison. One thing I know for sure, Buffalo is not a good place to find a good deal! Around here, 4X4's are at a premium! I can get a 2 WD in a snap! They are plentiful. The 4X4's are hard to find - at least in my price range!
Any help you can lend will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again - in advance!

When I bought my '96 last Spring, I found it online in TN. There are a lot of good web sites for used cars/trucks, mostly with pix. Check out: http://www.cartrackers.com/used_cars/ http://www.getauto.com/ http://www.autosite.com/ http://www.autotrader.com/ http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/G...5/carlot2.html
We have the dreaded road salt problem here in OH too, so I concentrated on Southern and Southwestern inland states. Avoid coastal states, flood damage and salt air. Be sure to get a Carfax report before you make an offer on a used truck.

Good luck
