Suggestions for new shocks??
I'm considering upgrading my shocks from the original factory ones before I go elk hunting in November. I'm looking for something to smooth out the rough paved roads we seem to have out here in Colorado, but also handle rough four wheeling terrain in the back country at the same time.
I've seen the new Edelbrock IAS shocks advertised a lot, but at $70-75 a piece they seem a little pricey. Have any of you had any experience with them, and are they worth the substantial price increase over other above average shocks out there, such as Rancho's and the like? If they are that good I'd be willing to part with the bucks, but if they're just overinflated due to being new I'll look at other options.
I've been getting a lot of my new stuff for both my Mustangs and my F-150 from Summitt Racing Supply, as they're prices seemed pretty competitive. They advertise that they don't charge shipping, but when you look at their "handling" charges they might as well say they do! Are there any other reliable outlets out there that have substantially lower prices and still offer a good variety of parts options?
Thanks for any info you can provide,
