Post One last question: where can I get a service manual at a decent price?

One last question and I promise I won't bother you all with any more for the next 6 months, which is how long since the last time I asked anything.
Is there anyplace, such as Summit Racing Equip., where I can purchase a service manual for my truck for less money than the dealership charges?
Thanks

Check out AutoZone or other parts stores for the Chiltons or Haynes manuals. Roughly $12 to $20. Each has its own merits and minuses. They cover F-series and Bronco for groups of years. The next step up, and its a big one, is the official manuals printed and distributed by Helm. I don't know of any step in between, maybe someone else can comment on that.

take a look in the back of the owners manual.
There should be info on the HELMS (the best one) shop maunals for your year truck.
No matter who you go to they will prob be a little pricey but very valuable when you need to look at how something comes apart.
