question about the EEC-IV in the ford trucks
i know that some of the 94-95 F150 came from the factory with a mass air setup. The 96 had the eev-5 (obdII) were the computers from the 94-95 eec-IV or eec-V?
second, if there were some eec=IV with massair, was the computer bach fire on the injectos or single fire?
if the computer was bach, can a computer from the 300I6 and the 302v8 interchange?
last but not least, how hard is it to install the standalone wire harrnes that ford motersoports sell for the eec-iv inplace of the stock harrness.
my truck is a 95 F150 with a SD computer, i need to convert to mass air, but i'm having combatibilty probles with fords converson kit. engine will run with SD, but cant idle, with mass air, i get a early rev limitor around 3100rps.

EEC-V began with OBDII in 96. EEC-IV can be S/D or MAF depending on application. Pretty sure all MAF are sequential (SEFI) and all S/D are batch-fire (MFI), if anyone knows otherwise please correct me on this. PCMs are not interchangable among engines.
