OK!!! My truck posted! Now, I need some advice... I'm going to paint the truck this fall. Since I can't find the chrome trim pieces for a reasonable price, I'm thinking of taking all the side chrome off and painting it a solid color, either a little more of a burnt brown/orange color; or black; or .... What are your suggestions???

Slik: really depends on how much work you want to do. You could repaint it a close color. Black looks VERY good on your style of trucks. To make it look great though you would have to paint inside the doors and etc.

Pastmaster,

That's my thinking too. I could go to a solid brown/rust/burnt orange type of finish and keep everything else the same.

Tom,

I like the color, but with black or a brown, I could keep my interior. Midnight blue just wouldn't match my rust and black interior.
