Post 93 F150 2WD Rear identification help

Can someone help me identify exactly which rear differential assy my truck has ?
I have a 93 F150 4.9, 2WD E4OD
My service manual covers a few different types. The manual states that I can at least identify the ratio by checking the tag attached to one of the cover bolts. I have the tag but it appears to just be a code. The tag has 2 lines of numbers As follows:
S836B
3 08 88 3B15

I need to replace the axle bearings / seals and need to identify which rear I have to get the correct bearings.
The cover plate is on the back side of the rear. 10 bolts in the cover. but I don't know if I have 8.8" or 9.0" or 10.25" pinion gear or what.
Also, where can i get the "Ford bearing removal tool" P/N T85T-1225-A called for in the manual.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thank you, Dennis

The 3 08 in the code stands for the 3.08 ratio axle.

The 88 stands for the 8.8" ring gear or 8.8" axle as it is more commonly referred to.

The 3B15 has something to do with whether or not it has limited slip...I can't exactly recall right now.

As for the tool, a good auto parts store should carry an equivalent.

Yes the 308 is gear ratio and the 88 is 8.8" ring gear that is what they need to know (the 8.8) If it was a limited slip the tag would read 3L08
