Talking Leveling Kit!!!

I just got my leveling kit installed today! I got some Eibach springs for my '90 4x4, and it looks good. It will look great once I get some beefy tires to put under there! I also took the plastic guard underneath my front bumper to enhance the look, and, once again, once I get my tires, It'll look great! With the springs, new rear shocks, new front tirod, balance/alignment (double bushing), and labor, total cost was around $400. Not bad.

Thumbs up

964x4, To tell you the truth, I've gotten plenty of compliments on how my exhaust sounds. It won't make your chest vibrate if I pull up next to you, but it's got a nice, low pitched rumble that can deffinately be heard.

I've supposedly got the loudest flowmaster muffler, the "40 Series", but I hear Magnaflow is taking over the muffler market. But I'm not familiar with how those mufflers sound. I want to get a high flow cat., too, but for a 1990 302 Ford, I think I have a great sounding truck. I've noticed Fords aren't quite as loud naturally as Chevy's or Dodges.

Some people put true dual exhaust, and I would imagine that would make for a freer flowing exhaust and a louder rumble, but definatley go with a high flow muffler, and dual exhaust with the mandrel bent pipes. I think my shorty headers compliment the muffler great, too. I'be been curious how to make my truck louder too, but I guess for the money and staying smog-legal, the setup I have is cool.
