You can go alot deeper than I can, with your 3" lift. I have been in water up to the bottom of the doors. I would be very careful and go slowly. Realize you can flood the engine, and our trucks run via a computer. Water is hard on bearings too.
I had my 95 XLT in 0ver the tires. Be sure all the grommets are sealed. My'ne weren't and the driver side carpet & floor mat were soaked. Took a long time to dry.

You can go as deep as you want, 2ft, 3 ft, heck, even 50ft of water! You may not be able to drive it under 50ft of water, but you CAN go that deep!!

Pirelli Scorpion A/T 255/75/15. Est. 200 hp 300ft/lb. Torque! Not bad for a straight 6!! Also driving the girlfriend's '94 Mercury Grand Marquis.
