there is a small cooler on the passenger side of the radiator.. i thought it was power steering but i went and followed the lines into and out of it and they went to the raditor and then to the trans.i bought the truck used. it does not have a hitch, so
does than mean i have a towing package or what?

Most likely it does. The quickest way to tell if you have factory trailer package is to look under the rear and see if you have a 7-pin round connecter. IF it does, and not the little 4-flat you have trailer package.
