Talking Coil Springs

I have a 96F150 reg cab 4x4. Why does the front end look like it is sagging? Some trucks I have seen look level from front to back. Even when I changed from 235's to 31" tires, the tires still do look to small for the truck. I have been kicking around the idea of getting different coils for the front but then I will have to put more leafs in the springs in back. Are the front coils different, when you have a tow package or something?

I have a '90 F-150 4x4 that does the same thing. I went to a tire store and asked about some leveling kits and they recommended new front coil springs. They said they had coils for my year of ford that would raise the front end by about 1.5". Said it almost perfectly levels the truck and I don't need anything for the back. With new coils, balance, alignment, and labor, they said it would run me about $250. Not too bad. I'm getting it done in a couple months.

-------------
1990 F-150 4x4 XLT Lariat, 302 V8, 2 tone grey, regular cab, short bed, Delta diamond plated toolbox, 4.10 gears with rear limited slip, shorty headers, "40 Series" Flowmaster exhaust with dual 3" chrome tips, K&N air filter, great Alpine cd player, modest amp, subs, and tweeters, custom 15x8" rims, p.o.s. 31x10.5" a/t tires... and just got a grey and silver Ford trailer hitch cover.

Future mods. include a 1.5" front suspension lift, 32x11.5" muds, a superchip, thinking about some intake, and a paint job!

I have a 1989 F-150 4x4. the front was sagging abit also, i ordered a leveling kit it was from pro-comp. it stated it would lift the front 1-2". i think it was closer to 2. i also had to get the camber kit which went out to 2.5 degrees. my camber still out about a 1/4 of a degree, but i am hoping the springs will settle a bit and correct this. i have some 31x10.50 michelns. the truck has a nice stance and is level. the only complaint is that when i turn full right the right tire rubs on the radus arm.

Well this would really be pre-97 . But can you use the taller coils (1 1/2" to 2" lift) on the old staight axle F150's (a 78 to be exact) to achieve that completely level look? Do you have to mess with the C-bushings for that small of lift? Thanks.
