Howdy All,

Where is the tag that identifies the gears? Some one told me "in the back", and that's just too vague. Also can anyone post a complete (or as close as you can) list of the codes for the diff and gears (93 4.9l)? Trying to find out exactly what I've got here.

K&N FIPK is on the way, new exhaust is next.

It should be written on the door i think, if not there is a tag on the rear diff. Cant help with those codes though sorry

Yeah... I've looked on the door plaque and it has the tranny and computer codes, but nothing about the diff or the gears. I'll look on the diff. Thanks.

Yes, inside your door post, there will be a sticker, containing information, like color numbers etc, under the axle label, there will be a number, most likely it will be a 18, which is 3.08 or 19 which is 3.55.
