1994 - F150 Vibration
Like driving over a washboard. Evident at all speeds, but worse around 35-40. All four tires, all four wheels, universals, front and rear brakes all replaced with new. Drive shaft balanced, run out checked, diff checked, alignment and shocks checked, put weight in the back, nothing helps!! This problem was minor when I bought it used in 1997, but it has gotten worse. Truck is 6 cyl, automatic. Any other ideas out there?
When you checked the wheels, did they check that they were not bent. I had a smiliar problem on my '87, tried re-balancing them, even tried a brand new set of tires. Finally found out after about three months that the original rims (wheels) on the truck were bent. Put a set of chrome steel wheels on .... smooth as glass. Actual sold the truck and now running them in the summer on my '94. Just an idea.
