Howling front wheel
About a month ago, I took my 96 4x4 into the dealer when started howling at low speeds. It only did this on the driver's side front. When I got it back, the mechanic said it was just to rubber seals that needed lubricating. Well, after another road trip, it started howling again. This time, I took it apart and found what the mechanic said. Behind the brake rotor, there is two rubber seals. One is stationary and the other rides on top of it and rotates. I lubricated it and the noise went away. It's back again. Has anyone had this problem? Is this caused from something else? Do I need to replace the rubber seals?
Thanks,
Chris
