Vacuum Hose Missing?
Vacuum Hose Missing?
I haven't picked this Bronco up yet but from the pictures of the engine bay it almost looks like there is a hose missing. What do you folks think?
Look right behind the battery. Ooops. I should've mentioned it's a "95 Bronco 351.
Thanks in advance.

yes its where the smog pump sucks air from. Its made like that.
btw, if you take the top radiator hose and loosen the clamp to where the hose connects on the t-stat housing, turn the hose a bit and the hose will stand up and sit on top of the radiator shroud. You won't need any zip ties to hold it up.

Actually, there is a hose missing, but it's nothing to lose any sleep over. There is a paper flex hose that goes on the end that you were concerned about, and follows the fenderwell down towards the firewall. It's only purpose is to reduce the possible road debris that could get sucked into the smog pump filter.
Not critical unless you do a lot of driving on dirt/gravel roads.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I'll get to pick it up tomorrow. He's asking $2500.00 with 117k miles on it. It's not perfect, but I should get a lot of miles out of it..
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
