New F150

Hey all, just got myself a new truck. Not really new to the F150 nor Ford in general, since I drove my dad's old 1997 around sometimes (he has a 03' F150 Screw now), and until I got this truck, I drove a 83' F150, which was a beast to say the least . My dad's a ford guy, my mom likes the chubbies.. but my dad brought me and my brother up to be ford lovers

But anyways, I recently picked up this 1995 F150. I like it so far, and have some plans for lift, bigger tires, and all that good stuff.

Glad to actually own a ford myself now, instead of just drive them

A pic:

It's not the best pic, was taken with a camera phone. She's a little dirty, took it through some puddles Theres more in my gallery.

Glad to be here among fellow ford owners

Nice F-150, is it blue or purple? What's the motor and trans combo in that truck?

I'm picking up a 93 F-150 4x4 from Tennessee next week - hurray for no rust!

It's a purple, but it looks blue in the sun Not sure what the trans is, but its a 302 5.0 EFI engine. It has a little rust, because I bought it from minnesota, which is known for their heavy salt use in the winter, but its not too bad and is still in the repairable state, only surface rust, and only in a couple spots. I like it so far

Thanks. Yeah, hopefully soon. Going to first work on a new exhaust setup, and a small lift and bigger tires. Im only 17, so it's gonna take a little time, but I hope to have a ton of what I want done by the end of my senior year of highschool

i'm 17 also i already graduated and i just did all the work to my truck to get half way decent fuel mileage for when i go to the nascar tech. institute. i did exhaust, hypertech chip, jasper stage 1 motor when mine went up, and soon to put in a cai. people can say what they want about these chips but i actually do notice a difference. i dont know about fuel mileage yet but shifting is definately firmer and after about 50 miles i noticed my motor doesnt try as hard to get up to speed or pull heavy loads in the bed.

Yeah I hear ya. I get decent fuel right now, but hope to get some engine mods going sometime soon, but a lift, tires, and exhaust are first on my list, which I hope to get done within a few months, and then work my way onto the other things

This old beast made the 800 mile drive last week from Nashville, Tenn to Buffalo, NY. Just a 93 F-150 4x4, with 216,000 miles, a newer 351W, Auto trans, and the A/C has been updated! Truck kind of suprised me, there were no hicups at all on the drive home. Plus it got 15-16 mpg.
