same, but i used screws. The former owner had a cheap(non working) EQ mounted there that I removed. Then when I got the cb i used the existing holes.

While we're on the subject what cb does everyone have?

I have a Cobra 29 WX NW ST Classic
I'm happy with it. I really like the NOAA weather like I get on the police scanner at the house.

Also, where are your antenna(s) mounted. I have a 4(I think) footer on the driver's side of my back bumper

Here's where I put mine, with the handset mounted where the electric 4x4 controls would be.

It's a Cobra UltraIII. It was like $40 at wally-world.

Under the ashtray with a couple nylon spacers for clearance to open the ashtray. All the parts I bought at Home Depot for a couple bucks.

Cobra 29 LTD, since I've had it, I've just kept it loose between the shifter and the bench seat sitting on it's side, and plugged into the 12v outlet, but now that I've seen some mounting ideas, time to mount the sucker, I run 2 firestiks 5' each on either side of my toolbox right near the cab and in through the grommets and under the seat to the box.

The last truck I had with a metal interior roof was my '81 f150 Ranger. A really loud belch in there would send my wife into a fit because of the acoustics.
