1967 Ford F150 Long Bed w/1970 302 Engine

here is the rundown. about a year ago. was drivingthe truck. all is well. .. when the truck just stalls, no electricity, nothing.
figure itsmaybe a faulty battery cable. ....jcharge the battery. nothing.

then i replace start, alternator, solenoid, volt-meter. nothing

then i replace battery, cables.

now it chugs, but doesn't turnover. used carb spray.
maybe its because its been dead for an extended period. Sparkplug issue?

Do you have a volt meter?

Check for 12v at the battery first, then keep moving the positive lead downstream till you find the break.

My hunch is a fuse link in the main wiring harness that connects from the battery side of the starter solenoid.

When you say all is dead does that mean fuse block too (lights, horn, radio, fans etc..)?

When you check for voltage make sure you use a good ground reference negative battery post is best, or verify a good body ground with a continuity check.

If check for 12v at starter or starter relay if has one and at fuse block. There are usally two power leads from the battery one large and one small. the small will usualy. have an inline fuse that looks like a rubber sleeve on the wire.

good luck
