$6200 for a 95 4x4 = too damn high
Ive been looking for a 2nd vehicle and Ive been eyeing an older F150 in our neighborhood. Finally got a chance to stop and talk to the owner:
1995
F150 reg cab, short bed (single fuel tank, he said 16-18 gallon)
4x4
300ci I6 and 5 speed manual
150000 miles and hes asking $6200!!
Granted he said it had a new front end, new clutch and something else that I cant remember at this point. I like the looks of the reg. cab but at 6'4 and 300+ its a bit cramped.
I guess Ill keep on looking but what is up with people wanting IMO an exorbitant amount for a high mileage 13 year old vehicle??

I used KBB to get that private party value, and I graded it "good". Even "excellent" is only $2900, and VERY few vehicles are "excellent". Even RETAIL (what a dealer would ask for it completely reconditioned) is only $4200. My guess is he really doesn't want to sell it, but if he can find a fool, he'll do it.
If you are 6'4" and want a regular cab. get a 97+, they have considerably more room.
