Replacing Door Striker

Hello everyone I need some help on how to replace a door stiker. I have a 93 Ford 150 and the bushing on the stiker craked and fell off so now the door rattles. Could anyone advise how to replace the striker so it is put on correctly? It said you can adjust it up and down and from side to side. If I just marked it with permanet marker will that make sure its in the correct location? Would I then tighten the striker tight and it would be adjused inward outward correctly? Anyway can someone give directions for me to install it? Sounds simple enough but is it? Please Help!!!
Thanks
Kevin

It is as simple as it sounds!! Just had to replace both door strikers on my '93! Majic marker around the orig. striker, take it off, align the new one and tighten it down. I had to make NO further adjustments to mine. Sure wish they sold the plastic rollers instead of the whole striker!!! 'Mo
