Even a crappy POS 4x4 can be better in mud/rocks/roads/moon/ect with a good driver than a super built bogger with a wacker behind the wheel.

I like broncos as you can see, but would not turn down a nice pre '92 K5.

Bronco's rock. I have a 94 Eddie Bauer Bronco. If your near WI, Which you probably are not due to us only having frozen mud, I just happen to have put mine up for sale. I love my Bronco, but I also would love to build a new house this year..

Can't go wrong with a FSB! Prices are pretty low on them right now with gas prices where they are. If you end up with one that has 6" of lift, then you can run 36's easily, possibly bigger. Is it just going to be for off road, or is it gonna see street use too? If it's going to be used on the road, I'd avoid going over 36", unless you plan on keeping 2 sets of wheels. Make sure you check in over on the FSB forums. Them are some old school Ford boys over there Just make sure you search first before you post a question, because they wield a pretty big n00b adjustment stick
