i have a 95 f150 4x4 with the 300 i6 motor and z5 manual 5 speed tranny. im looking for a donor truck or someone who is possibly willing to trade an e40d transmission and accessories needed for me to swap to auto i know a lot of people want the z5 trannies and im tired of driving a 5 speed. might be willing to just trade trucks if someone near me has an auto truck similar to mine but im not putting any money on top and it must be a 4x4 auto single cab motor preference isnt big deal but i prefer the 6

 

Where did you find a 150 with a ZF5? From what I can find, the only 5 speed offered in a 150 with a 300 was a Mazda M5OD. The ZF was in the 250's and bigger.

 

yeah i was wrong about the zf5 it isnt its a 4spd with overdrive. anyways i would still like to trade for an auto overdrive tranny preferrably an e40d

 

I'm thinking you would need a donor truck for the electronics. The other choice would be a C-6 but that's not overdrive.

 

yeah i was hoping someone would have a truck near me that wants a manual and has an auto so we can just park the trucks together one day and swap all the needed stuff from one truck to the other but looks like im probly going to have to go a scrap yard and buy a donor truck with what i need in it and do the swap then send the truck back to the yard when im done
