1989 F250 Rear Fender Removal

I just bought an F250 2wd. The truck runs strong and the body is in good condition generally (except for badly oxidized paint...a project that I have yet to tackle.)

The only real issue is that both rear fenders have cancer around the wheel opening molding. The rust is through the panel. Also, one of the fuel doors is rusted through. I found a pair of panels at a local bone yard that are rust free, but I was not sure how tough removing the old ones would be.

Any tips/instructions would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

doenst sound like this is a project you should tackle just yet, i would start you off with some smaller welding / cutting projects first.

Got it

I agree. I wasn't sure is these fenders were bolt-on or welded. Given that you're indicating that they're welded, this is a job for someone else.

Thanks for the replies!!
