Hello all, I noticed that my 1991 xlt lariat sounded louder....so i had it looked at and oh what a surprise i have a exhaust leak. Now the auto guys wanted to replace the muffler but i was wondering, rather than go with another stock, what kind of after market exhaust would work and sound good on a I6?

 

If it's stock definitely step up to a 2.5" cat-back.
As to the muffler brand???
You'll gert as many different answers as the number of people you ask. I went with a FM 70 series because it is very quiet until you romp on it and not real loud even then. You may want louder.
