horn problems

88 ford f150 does anyone know where the horn relay is when I press the horn it makes a clicking noise sounds like its in side the cab what do you think it is a reay if so where is it located thanks

If it clicks I'd assume the relay is good, but just in case, you can check it out. Located directly above the gas pedal at the level of about the ignition swich behind the dash.



Most likely however your horn has filled with trash, or the mount, which acts as a ground, has corroded.

Pull off the connector to the horn located below the drivers side headlight and see if there is 12v when the relay clicks. If so, you have either a bad horn or ground.
