92 f150 noises??

Hey guys, I have a 5.0 1992 f150 and it seems to be really busy sounding under the hood. Nothing bad, but just sounds louder than I think it should especially on the accelerating end of things. I had 2 cracked manifolds which I thought was the problem, replaced those, and my sound is still there?? Im just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did about it, or anyone have any ideas for me to check?
Very appreciated..
Cole

Could be the fan clutch stuck in the engaged position.

Could you describe 'busy' a bit more? Ticks, pops, whirrs, knocks, squeals???

The 5.0L is a very reliable powerplant, no immediate general concerns that I can think of.

It doesnt sound like anything tooo crazy... just loud. Sounds like the motor running, and almost has an echoeing effect. So just normal sounds it should be making just a little louder. I wouldnt even of noticed it, but I was in my friends truck (same thing) and his didnt have it and it has 50,000+ miles than mine.

What type of package do you have versus your friends - XL, XLT, etc.?

May be a cab insulation issue?
