How feasable would a 4X2 to 4X4 convert be? Just wondering

For your vintage truck, unless you really, and I mean REALLY, love it - suggest you'd be better off financially by patiently scouring the classifieds to find what you're really after.

thanks! i kinda thought that in the back of my mind! but thought id ask! that would be a huge project that id love to do though! someday....ill take on one of these projects like the turbo or auto-standard ect...

only if you have a donor truck with everything you need that is about the same year. then it is pretty strait forward. I have done several and the trick is to find a wrecked donor cheep.

you would need:
Front axle
Hubs
Transfer case
front drive shaft
i know im missing some other things that are very obvious please do tell
