i have a 95 f150 4wd i have bought and installed the performance accsesory 3in body lift....however i could not get that little steering u joint adapter that goes under the dash in because when i jacked the body of the truck up the steering shaft never even moved and yes i had it unbolted......has anyone else had this problem is it bad.....the truck drives fine with out it i just dont want anything on the steering to snap

 

That extension doesn't keep anything from snapping - it just gives you more length, if you need it. You apparently don't, so don't worry about it.
